Why a Major in Business Management, Analytics, and Information Technology?
Professionals who earn a traditional MBA can earn up to 50% more in their careers than they would without one. With an MBA in Business Management, Analytics, and Information Technology, however you can go even farther. A specialized STEM MBA will prepare you with the skills you’ll need to capitalize on the incredible growth of data-driven businesses.
ReportLinker predicts that the global big data and business analytics market could grow by more than 15% in the coming years. And according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), data science is one of the 20 fastest-growing fields in the country, with a projected increase of 35%.
That’s nearly seven times the average rate for all occupations in the U.S. There is — and will continue to be — a need for professionals who not only understand new technology, but know how to lead as well. Business intelligence managers, operations research analysts, and computer and information systems managers are just a few of the positions that are growing far faster than the average.
Businesses now depend on huge volumes of raw data, which means they depend on people who know how to use it strategically. 94% of businesses say data analytics are essential to success in the digital age; but 74% feel they still have a lot of catching up to do. Our MBA in Business Management, Analytics, and Information Technology can help you fill a pressing need — and move your career forward in the process.
What Is the Difference Between a STEM MBA and a Traditional MBA?
Our innovative program goes beyond the limits of a traditional business school education, by incorporating coursework from both our MS in Computer Science and MS in Data Science. You’ll build technical skills in IT and data analytics that will help you to bridge the gap between technology and business.
