As Told by the Alumni of Monroe University
Every student who comes to Monroe leaves here with their own personal story about their time on campus.
Our Office of Alumni Relations recently set out on an ambitious oral history project to capture these stories.
Alumni from across the decades were invited to share their memories and photos for inclusion in a compendium celebrating this special and unique institution.
The resulting work is the just-published, inspirational book called “In My Words: As Told by the Alumni of Monroe University.”
It is a beautiful collection of memories from students located far and wide. Their heartfelt words of admiration and appreciation for the faculty who inspired them and the dedicated staff members who truly had their backs are incredibly moving.
We invite you to read these stories for yourself. A digital copy of the book is available at the link below.
