Apply as an Online Student
Every year, we welcome hundreds of students, both in NYC and around the world, to join our online community. Below you can find all the information you need to complete the three-step application process correctly and on time. After you upload your documents, your personal admissions advisor will guide you through the next steps and discuss the opportunity to enroll in one of our 7.5 week Mini-Mesters or 15 week semesters.

Application Checklist
1. Submit
- Application. You must submit your application online at monroecollege.edu/apply. You'll first create a username and password in your application portal and share key information like your areas of interest.
- Essay. The 250 word essay is your time to shine and communicate why you want to pursue a degree at Monroe and how it will help you achieve your career goals.
- Application Fee. You will be able to submit the $35 application fee online here.
2. Request
- High School Diploma. You can upload or send your unofficial transcript by email to admtranscript@monroecollege.edu.
- Transcript. You can upload or send your unofficial college transcript by email to admtranscript@monroecollege.edu.
3. Interview
- Schedule your interview. We want to hear more about your educational goals, career aspirations, and get to know you better as a person. Your interview with your admissions advisor can be by phone, zoom, face time or via Skype.
When to Apply
Class is Always in Session. Monroe Online has 6 starts a semester offering both 7.5 and 15 week sessions, designed to fit in your busy schedule.
