John Bianco
“I love the freedom to take classes both on campus and online.”
John Bianco found that the King Graduate School’s Master of Public Health, Biostatistics and Epidemiology program, fit his goals and schedule perfectly. He appreciated the freedom to take classes both on campus and online. Additionally, his employer is one of Monroe University’s Corporate Partners, making the program even more affordable for him.
John notes that the clinical internship built into the course load is extremely valuable. It really helps students get a foot in the door and gain valuable experience in the field,” he says.
After graduating in 2019, John continued his work at Montefiore Medical Center. He chose to move away from working as a Project Associate to now working as the Systems Administrator for the Department of Quality Management. After a few years, he switched positions to Senior Operations Analyst at White Plains Hospital. Later, he decided to come back to Montefiore and currently works as a Performance Improvement Specialist and Data Liaison.
John notes that the knowledge he has gained in biostatistics and epidemiology will be invaluable in helping him grow in the healthcare field.
