Marlenne’s education at Monroe was not just about academic growth but also about personal and professional development. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a Concentration in Health Administration and Leadership. One of the highlights of her time at Monroe was when she published and presented her thesis work at the American Public Health Association (APHA) convention in San Diego, CA. This significant achievement not only added a milestone to her academic career but also made her a valuable reference for future students.
Marlenne’s journey led her to a role in Case Management and Health Education at Montefiore Medical Center. She now has a career in Health Care and Data Analytics, and she attributes her success to Monroe. The close-knit community provided her with the encouragement and resources she needed to excel both academically and professionally. She credits her advisors and professors who went above and beyond for her. The flexibility of classes allowed her to balance her full time job and studies. Marlenne focused on the importance of self initiative to make sure she received the help she needed and was successful at school and her career.
