Michella’s passion was found in high school while interning for the General Counsel at the Anti-Defamation League. Thereafter, she facilitated a fundraiser raising $2,500 for victims of sexual exploitation in Sudan, Africa. Michella attended Monroe University, earning her A.S. and B.S. degrees in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Human Services. During her tenure, she worked as a Banquet Server, Youth Advocate intern, and Administrative Assistant. After the internship, Children’s Village hired her as an overnight Socio-Therapist. Michella then became a Case Planner at Boys Town and was known as the most valuable employee. She recognized her true potential during her assignment to partake on the Quality Assurance Committee. Her new calling motivated her to pursue a degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Touro College where she was later inspired to be a Quality Assurance Specialist. As a Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Analyst at Lutheran Social Services of New York, Michella decided to remain faithful to the work of child welfare, helping employees/agencies achieve their full potential in saving the lives of children and healing families.
