Housing Options
Gaddy Hall
The six-story Gaddy Hall building provides on-campus housing for 300 freshman students. As a mixed-use building, it is also home to Gaddy Café on the first floor, the main dining hall where students can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night dining seven days a week during the semester. The building also features seven classrooms, offices for faculty, and the student mailroom.
Allison Hall
Allison Hall is a six-story residence hall on Main Street, conveniently located near many of our classroom buildings. The shuttle stop for the Bronx campus is right in front of the building. Allison Hall rooms are furnished with a twin size bed and mattress, a chest of drawers, and an armoire for each student. Each room is equipped with a mini refrigerator. All students who reside in Allison Hall must participate on one of our meal plans as there are no kitchens or kitchenettes in this building. The suite has a bathroom and central air conditioning. Every floor has a common area, which is available for students to socialize and study. Additionally, the building has a fitness center and laundry facility. Security is provided around the clock.
Standard Apartments
Monroe University offers apartment-style dorms in downtown New Rochelle that are within walking distance of classes. Apartment rooms can be doubles or triples, and are equipped with a full-size kitchen complete with refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave, cabinets, and chairs. The bedrooms are furnished with a twin bed, a chest of drawers and a closet or armoire for each student.
