ASSOCIATE DEGREE
Diagnostic Medical Sonography (AAS)
Work with highly sophisticated, non-invasive ultrasound technology to create detailed internal images of the body that assist physicians in making diagnoses.
Medical assistants work to conduct a mixture of administrative tasks and clinical duties, such as updating medical records, taking a patient’s vitals, or scheduling appointments. These individuals are often the first health care professionals a sick person sees.
Surgical technologists work with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons in the operating room by prepping, assisting, and cleaning the room for surgery. These health professionals strive to maintain a sterile and organized environment for all patients.
The School of Allied Health Professions’ non-clinical programs encompass degrees that involve a focus in administration, communication, and technical skills. Non-clinical health care professionals work behind the scenes to provide community health information and assistance in roles such as medical billing and coding, health care administration, or technician services.

Allied Health Science (AS)
