With emphasis on experiential learning, our purpose is to graduate professionals who think critically and are astute decision makers, ready to navigate uncertainty, risk, and change.
We fulfill our purpose through delivery of relevant, contemporary curricula in a rigorous yet supportive learning environment. In addition to their sharing their experience and knowledge of core disciplines, our faculty guides students in the development of effective communication and collaboration skills. We also help them develop and master essential functional competencies and cultural intelligence. General Business (BBA)

ACBSP Accreditation
Many of Monroe’s School Business & Accounting undergraduate programs offered at the Bronx and New Rochelle campuses, as well as online, are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Monroe’s MBA program also shares this accreditation. To receive this prestigious accreditation, schools must first apply for ACBSP membership and have regional accreditation. Schools are also required to complete a self-study, demonstrating their commitment to improvement, innovation, and scholarship.

Our AAS and BBA in Accounting, AAS in Business Administration, BBA in Business Management, BBA in General Business, and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) are ACBSP accredited. Our MS in Accounting, Master of Public Administration (MPA), AAS and BBA in Sports Management, AAS in Business Administration, and BBA and MBA in Business Management on the St. Lucia campus, and the AAS and BBA in Accounting on the St. Lucia campus are not ACBSP accredited.
